I'm just curious if anyone plays an MMO.

I myself used to play WoW, and AION. But I quit them both.

Runescape is a game?

>.>

I usedta play WoW until I ran out of money. I only had BC though, not WotLK.

I play D&DO every once in a while, though not too often.
I feel the malice in my veins, my heart swells with hatred in your name.

Anyone who has had authentic depression knows, it is not always that simple.
It's not that you're so "sad" you don't want to do anything, it's that you're so lost in your own mind that everything ceases to matter.

I played WoW 3 years ago for 2 months. I had to quit before it was too late.. For the past year I've been playing Rebirth: Ragnarok Online, a private server. Although after everyone I liked in the game ditched me suddenly, I quit. I might go back to play once and a while, but I'm not committing myself to be on 3 times a week. No idea what I'll play now.

Me and Ryoku came to a conclusion that WoW is boring for the non-addicted. ^.^

That we have.

He made me waste 20Gbs of space from copying just so I could patch up and we could play on the latest patch.

So,

Caricature said, if I could gather up 3-5 people to play Dungeons and Dragons: Online Eberron Unlimited, he said he'll play. (http://www.ddo.com/)

So who wants to!? :D

Ohgosh, way to find my nerdy spot.

I play MMO's. But not MMO's as you know them >.>

I play muds... Text-based roleplay-intensive games online, they're really small communities (20-50 people online at peak >.>)

But I love them.

A lot.

Even though there's only two good ones.

Here's one: http://www.armageddon.org/

If anyone is interested :B

I play WoW because it's like one of two MMORPG's for Macs and I have only Macs. WoW is fun if you find people you like on it and if you like the lore. WoW is infinitely more enjoyable if you're interested in the story behind the quests and the world. Most of the lore is fascinating and interesting.

If I could play any other MMO, I'd play Aion. In fact, if I actually buy Windows 7 and bootcamp my Mac then I'll be getting it to play.

Technically Call of duty and games like that are MMOs

They are massively multiplayer online games...

I'm an epic runescaper, and an even more epic pokemoner, but pokemon isn't MMO

They are one billion times better than nonrpi D:

Armageddon and Atonement are the only two on at the moment though :(

I guess you could count new worlds.

But it's kind of jank.

I would, but I have to keep in mind a few things when playing an online game:

1. How much time do I have to sit and play?
I'm on the hunt for a job at the moment, and any down time I have might be for working on my long project list for AMV's I've yet to complete. I also have a pile of PS2 games that need to be beaten at one point or another. I usually just play an online game to pass time or if I'm bored with my current hobbies.

2. How much space do I have on my computer?
On average, I usually have from 2GB to 6GB of space on my computer. I tend to stick to smaller online games, since 2/3 of the space of my hard drive is taken up by my mom's crap. When she leaves, I should get the full 32GB hard drive to myself though. IF she decides her work files can be deleted or not.

3. What kind of game is it?
My computer doesn't seem to run online games too well, it was barely able to withstand WoW on the lowest quality setting with the smallest screen resolution. Often times I can't play 3D games without a terrible amount of LAG. That's why I tend to stick to games like Ragnarok Online, since it's the only online game I've played thus far at full speed and graphics quality.

4. If it isn't free, I'm not going for it.
Since I don't have a job, or any source of money for my disposal, I'll only play free games. If it's a private server of a game that costs money though, I'm all for that too. I just can't afford to play anything that costs more than nothing.

I've played a lot of online games, and some were really good. I was considering going back to them, and perhaps when my mom gives me her computer I'll download and play them again. Perhaps when I do you guys would play them with me? DnD has always been like acid to me, many of my friends have tried converting me over to playing it and I've had to fend them off with a stick. Sorry, not my cup of tea.

For the longest time, I was addicted to MapleStory, which in turn got me into Mabinogi (since they're both owned by Nexon and stuff).
Unfortunately, Nexon's community isn't exactly the friendliest out there.
I ended up quitting Mabinogi, and when my computer crashed, I couldn't seem to re-install MapleStory (I probably could if I tried now, but I don't have time for very many MMOs anymore.)

Now, I play Fiesta on and off, but not as often as I have been.
Something you wanna know about me?
Ask at my Formspring, or perhaps my Ask A Member thread.
Whichever you prefer.

Check out these awesome RPs!

Depends on who you ask. I don't recommend asking Gaia-haters. But yea even though its part of a larger site its still an oline game that massive amounts of people play.
